Punk57

Sooo. This was my first book I've ever read by Penelope Douglas. I had originally planned to start with Corrupt, but The cover for Punk57 caught my eye. I had never read anything like this, although I'm sure there are probably different variations somewhere, in the book-verse.  The idea of child hood Pen-pals who fall in love and live happily ever was too juicy to pass up. I wanted to see how this played out.

But this book was so much more than your usual Love stories. While, of course there's the happily ever after. The Hot and Steamy scenes ( yes there are more than one). The Underlying message is just so important. For me, and every single person out on this planet can resonate with the feelings of high school and wanting to fit in. I loved the character development. I loved the message. The Angst ! ughhhh sooo much ANGST!!!!! Oh and Fckn PLOT TWIST😶. Multiple. Overall great writing by Penelope. I will definitely be checking out more works by her.
